Frequently Asked Questions

How do families register for an elective?

Families can view their school’s Electives offerings by using our Program Finder: Elective Programs – Right At School.

When families find a class they want to sign up for, they must hit the REGISTER button. They will be prompted to create a Right At School account (or can log in if they already have one), and then they’ll be guided through our step-by-step registration process. Families can also contact Customer Service at 855-287-2466 if they prefer to register over the phone.

Can students register late?

Registration is typically open two weeks after the start date of Electives (this depends on the district, please refer to the district calendar to determine when registration ends).

After two weeks has passed, we no longer accept registrations.

What happens if my class doesn’t reach its minimum?

If your class doesn’t reach it’s minimum, we will cancel it and notify/refund the families enrolled. Decisions on whether partners will run their class(es) or not are due the Friday before the start of the session. The Electives team will not cancel a class unless confirmed by the vendor.

What is your refund policy?

If requested before the start of the second class, families will receive a full refund. If requested after the second class, no refunds will be honored.

Do you offer any discounts?

Right At School does not offer any discounts for elective classes.

What do I do if I’m running late, or need to cancel a class?

If an instructor is running late or needs to cancel a class, please contact your Area Manager and Program Manager immediately. If cancelling a class, please try your best to provide 24-hour notice.

When will I receive payment and how will I get paid?

Partners are paid twice in one session. The first payment is due halfway through the session, and the final payment is due once the session is complete.

Partners will have the option to receive a paper check or sign up for direct deposit. When payment is due, vendors will receive an invitation from Ramp, where they will be given the chance to enter bank account information.

In what situations do I contact the Electives team vs. the Field team?

Please contact the Electives team for any questions related to scheduling, billing/payment, background checks, contracts or insurance. For any school-specific questions such as room assignments or parking, please contact the designated Area Manager and Program Manager.
